Login Problems

Activating your account

To access certain areas of ifs ProShare, you are required to activate your account. You do this by typing your ifs number into the ‘ifs number’ field in the ‘Account Activation’ Box on login page and selecting ‘Activate’. You will then be taken through a series of steps to create a password and activate your account. You will also be asked to set up a memorable word, should you forget your password at a later date.

If you are unable to activate your account, one or more of the following may apply:

  • You have entered an invalid ifs number.
  • An account has already been activated for the ifs number you entered.
  • A postcode is missing from the account if in the UK (this is required to verify your account).
  • A country is missing from the account if outside of the UK (this is required to verify your account).

If you are sure that you are entering the correct ifs number but cannot activate your account, please contact us on
+44 (0) 20 7444 7104 or email ifsproshare@ifslearning.ac.uk.

Forgetting your password

If you have forgotten your password, you can select the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the home page to rest it by entering your security details and memorable word. If this does not work, or if you did not set up a memorable word when activating your account, please contact us on +44 (0) 20 7444 7104 or email ifsproshare@ifslearning.ac.uk.

Resetting your account

If you have forgotten your password and the ‘memorable word’ process did not enable you to reset it, your account can be reset by contacting us on +44 (0) 20 7444 7104 or email ifsproshare@ifslearning.ac.uk. Once reset you will be able to reactivate it by entering your ifs number in the ‘Account Activation’ Box and selecting ‘Activate’. You will then be taken through a series of steps to create a password and activate your account. You will also be asked to set up a memorable word, should you forget your password at a later date.

If you are unable to activate your account, one or more of the following may apply:

  • You have entered an invalid ifs number.
  • A postcode is missing from the account if in the UK (this is required to verify your account).
  • A country is missing from the account if outside of the UK (this is required to verify your account).

If you are sure that you are entering the correct ifs number but cannot reactivate your account, please contact us on
