FTSE Account Executive - Solium

Located in Croydon, UK and Reporting to the Head, EMEA Distribution, the FTSE Account Executive (FTSE AE) is responsible for delivering to the business unit’s sales goals and establishing Solium as the UK shareplans leader.  The successful FTSE AE will be a key member of Solium’s EMEA sales organisation that will establish vital reputational equity in the market and make promises that the organisation can deliver on.  

The FTSE Account Executive will be focused on driving new relationships and revenue in the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250, and is confident about their ability to close new business.  You will be accountable for delivering to the Company’s recurring revenue goals, contributing in meaningful ways to a high-performing sales organization and ensuring every prospect/client interaction is redeeming and marked by memorable quality & integrity; 

Responsibilities

The FTSE AE is responsible for adding new logos within the FTSE 100 & FTSE 250 indexes in the UK and managing the sales process from introduction to an executed services access agreement through:

  • Working with existing relationships and procuring new companies to aid their awareness of Solium’s services and to foster demand through providing information to help companies differentiate Solium’s services and inherent advantages in the market;    
  • Achieving revenue targets:
  •                 Maintaining transparent sales pipeline activities
  •                 Stewarding the prospect to a close
  •                 Accessing the necessary resources within Solium – technical sales, senior sales support, product input – to deliver a quality sales experience to the market;
  •                 Contribution and ownership of RfPs and RfIs for UK FTSE customers
  •                 Liaising with Operations and SP
  • Demonstrating Best Sales Practices, including :
  • Salesforce administration/maintenance and reporting
  • Reliable and transparent Sales pipeline on-demand reporting
  • Consistent pricing methodology and application of pricing   
  • Interfacing and collaborating with global colleagues on multi-national opportunities     
  • Maintaining strong market analysis and segmentation strategies   
  • Maintaining a consistent standard of excellence in all interactions with Prospects, including:
    o   Product demonstrations
    o   RFP preparation and language translation
    o   Quality and reliability of pricing proposals
  • Building and nurturing vital relationships with senior client contacts across Solium’s target market segments, including corporate secretariat, finance, human resources, compensation and legal
  • Working closely with Marketing to ensure materials and tactics are well aligned with the prospect and market requirements
  • Demonstrating initiative and leadership across the many functions at Solium that support the client, to engender a deep loyalty between Solium and the client and within the Solium organisation
  • Understanding and interpreting the Solium Services Access Agreement and any client exceptions to Solium standards with respect to pricing, plan management or service level commitments.
  • Setting an example for colleagues with respect to client interaction, communication tactics and positioning strategies.
  • Completing annual account reviews with the Relationship Managers to uncover service and revenue opportunities for Solium’s existing clients;
  • Supporting Finance in ensuring our Access Agreements have complete information for billing our clients;
  • Always demonstrating a leading example across the Solium organisation of client care, empathy and a commitment to service excellence.

 

  • Minimum 3 years in an Account Management/Sales role selling enterprise cloud solutions to leading FTSE multinationals
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Economics or Finance
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies.  Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies, e-commerce and equities 
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Superior problem solving skills and abilities
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and works well without direction    
  • A deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous change.    
  • An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals.  
  • The right to work in the UK, and ability to travel throughout Europe and the UK.   
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a must; fluency in additional languages considered an asset  
  • Relevant industry technology/financial services/accounting) experience is an asset 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common technology and technical concepts, including but not limited to email, internet, Excel and Word    
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task, including escalating when appropriate
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities
