This is a newly created role for a Share Plan Manager to lead the end to end Awards and Vesting processes for various executive and all employee share plans and to ensure compliance with internal and statutory requirements in all countries where those plans are operated. The Share Plan Manager must ensure a rigorous coordination of all aspects of those plans: communications, taxation, legal requirement, reporting, filing, review of the rules etc. liaising with external and internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient running of the plans.
The PLC has an international Sharesave, which operates in approx. 40 countries, plus international Executive plans, which operate in approx. 20 countries. The role will be mainly based in the London office, but will require some travel – to South Wales about once a month, where the main payroll department is based, plus perhaps between 4-8 international trips per year to visit and make contact with their international payroll offices as and when necessary. Up until now this work has been handled within the Secretariat, but the workload is expanding, so it is time to recruit a specialist.
