Global Share Plan (LTI) Advisor - AstraZeneca - Cambridge

The Global LTI team is part of the global Compensation and Benefits team.  The LTI team is responsible for the group-wide Long Term Incentive (LTI) Programme for more senior employees. Currently 11,000 employees in 60 countries hold LTIs, granted under a variety of share plans.  The team is accountable for the design, implementation, communication and tax, legal and corporate governance for the LTI programme, and for supporting the wider business in all relevant LTI matters.

As Global Share Plan Advisor, you will part of the team supporting the LTI Global Manager.  The manager is responsible for:

  • The administration of the annual, and other ad-hoc, LTI grants.This includes ensuring compliance with the various plan rules, tax and legal obligations, and internal governance requirements.
  • The vesting of all LTI awards through the annual cycle.This includes establishing tax rates, distributing payrolls, checking ongoing eligibility, and ensuring global compliance.
  • Management and maintenance of complex personal and award data, including the provision of reports and filings to internal and external parties as required, including global tax authorities and the monitoring of daily data feeds to the plan administrator.
  • Ensuring sufficient shares are purchased to support the LTI programme, and managing all the operational activity around this need.
  • Communication to participants on all aspects of the LTI programme.
  • Management of recharges to local business units, including all reconciliations.
  • Supporting any group-wide system or structure changes that affect LTIs.
  • Dealing with participant queries on any aspect of their LTI awards.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including global payrolls, company secretariat, finance, tax, legal, reward and HR teams.
Working in partnership with the external LTI plan administrator and other third parties regarding all aspects of the operation of the LTI programme.

To support the role responsibilities, you will have the following skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel.You will be able to use Excel to provide analysis and reporting to allow the team to support all operational requirements, and to enable the team, and others, to make decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand to the recipient.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, which is maintained under pressure.
  • Good analytical skills and comfortable using large data sets.
  • Ability to both work independently and to specific instruction, and able to prioritise.
Able to work well in a team with a global remit which reflects diversity of culture and needs.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in working in an HR, Finance or central support function.
Some knowledge of employee share plans, but this isn’t essential.
